Bellevue Lifestyle Shoot
New work for Voyger Group. Looks like tons of photos and it was a full four days of shooting. So many models and so little time. We had shots in the mall, restaurants, courtyard, hotel spaces, and streets of Bellevue. Photographer Julian Harold was such a quick shooter. We didn’t spend too much time in any one space. These jobs start out big a bit overwhelming because of the racks, and racks of returns. Luckily for me on the fourth day of shooting I was able to bring in a additional assistant to start tackling this process.

Seattle to Tulum Mexico
Pulling product for this editorial in Tulum had it’s challenges, mostly because it was in Mexico, and I would need to have samples for over a week. Also Love Win’s was a new magazine and brands weren’t willing to send me stuff. Below is a picture of all the samples that were mailed for this shoot.

Styling a Amazon Home Shoot
Working with both Amazon’s Home creative director and the client OKAYBRO made for an overall fun couple days. The set included hip hop music, vegetarian food options, cool people, which I would call a chill team, and photographer Ian Coble. I knew both the MUA used Lindsay Watkins and Sara Swain which I wished I got to work with more often.

Weight Watchers Shooting in Seattle
I love shooting with Weight Watchers when they visit Seattle. It was so much fun reconnecting with the same Art Director and Editor. I worked with them a couple of years ago, and it’s awesome being able to reconnect and catch up years later. As big as the world is, it can still be small. One thing that I enjoy most about my job is meeting new people. Productions that roll in from out of town have me meeting people from all over the country. The creatives I get to work with are so talented. Always grateful to have repeat clients from years ago.

Foxwoods Resort & Casino
I spent a total of 10 days at Foxwoods Resort & Casino, 5 of which we were shooting both photo and video at the same time. Me and my team dressed over a 100 people in several different outfits throughout the week and when it was all said and done everyone on the crew was exhausted. I have been to casinos all around the country and Foxwoods is a casino worth staying at. I ate at every single restaurant, and would eat at every single one again. Below are some moments of the week that made me smile.

How Much Does It Cost To Hire A Wardrobe Stylist

Swansons Nursery
Seattle is a big enough city to always be shooting at different locations. The latest discovery for me was the best garden store I have found in Seattle, nestled in Ballard called Swansons Nursery. Swansons had a koi pond, restaurant/ kitchen called Barn & Field , indoor clean restrooms, and most importantly an amazing indoor plants section. Seattle has many beautiful plant stores but Swansons Nursery has been the biggest selection I have seen in one place. Check out some of the BTS photo’s below:

Paramount Theater
I was just going though old PDFs and this mock-up that I had emailed the editor with wardrobe credits popped up. The Paramount Theater was the most fitting place to shoot the 25th Anniversary of the release of Nirvana’s Nevermind album. Seattle magazine wanted to pay tribute by shooting the September fashion feature at the Paramount Theater, which was where Nirvana had the release party for the Nevermind album. Since moving to Seattle I have always wanted to do a grunge shoot. I pulled the coolest 90’s inspired clothing all of which got x-nayed from my line up. The roster of stores & brands that had to be featured in this fashion story took over the editorial. Kind of a bummer for me, but at the end of the day the client was happy and I got to do a Seattle “grunge” type shoot. My favorite part of shooting was being able to roam around the empty Paramount Theater.

Shaky Beats Music Festival
My client Travels Through Images called and asked if I was available to go to Atlanta and help on a music festival shoot. Luckily, I was and had quite a weekend shooting at Atlanta’s Shaky Beats Music Festival. Full disclosure I have a fear of nasty bathrooms at festivals. Gross port-a-potty’s are something I will avoid at any cost. With that said I have avoided music festivals thus far. To my surprise at Shaky Beats the bathroom situation was totally fine. Besides some of the crazy music it was quite fun.

The Center for Wooden Boats

Bellevue Square Magazine
The Bellevue Collection is made up of three parts: Bellevue Square, Lincoln Square, and Bellevue Place. Bellevue Square creates both a fashion forecasting lookbook and magazine which I got to style for Fall 2016. We shot this is the middle of July when fall fashion hadn’t officially arrived and everything was on summer markdown. Challenging but fun times for me. I love shoots like this. After spending a week shopping at Bellevue Square, I was shopped out and knew what was in every store Bellevue Square offered. Below is a behind the scenes of shooting and styling Bellevue Collection along with some of the images used in Bellevue Square.

Bella Luna Farms
So much fun to have a fashion shoot on a farm. Bella Luna Farms, located just north of Seattle was a beyond beautiful backdrop for our dreamy bride. From a cute farm house overlooking the animals, to lush gardens. I would totally live on a farm if it looked and felt similar to Bella Luna Farms.

Girls Night Out commercial
Here is a commercial I styled earlier this year. Girls Night Out for T-bones steakhouse at Red Rock Casino. 11 total talent less than 2 1/2 hours to get them dressed without an assistant. I was running around like a crazy lady, but the job always gets done. Considering how much time I had to pull off the impossible, it looks great.

Discovery Park Fort Lawton Homes

Weight Watchers Cover
I had so much fun shooting with photographer Katerina Gkionis. It was the art director, the photographer, and I wandering around Discovery Park (in Seattle, Washington). An all girl skeleton crew made the day short and sweet. Especially since the weather that day was beautiful. It was such a surprise to learn that this shoot ended up being the cover of Weight Watchers May/June 2016 issue.
