Spring-Summer Fashion Shoot

This was shot in the first week of March 2020. The coronavirus had just hit Seattle and was in the news. I felt lucky to have been able to complete this job considering the madness that would unfold in the weeks ahead.

The look above is from Jonny Was. I would describe the Jonny Was as an expensive boho-chic luxury type brand. Jonny was is for the women who use to shop at free people in their twenties and thirties but now in their forties, they can afford Jonny Was. This job was for “Be Magazine” and Bellevue Square mall. I was only able to shop in stores located within the mall. As you can imagine I would clock 10,000 steps by noon.

I love getting the opportunity to style fashion for a “fashion magazine”. These types of opportunities for fashion styling don’t happen that often in Seattle. Magazine publication is a dying art form. So that this job combines picking out fashion trends and commercial advertising for a magazine is such a treat for me. You know you love your job when a week-long of 12 hours days is something you are grateful to do.
