Havana 1957

I had no idea what I was getting into when styling this shoot for a new restaurant in the Flamingo called Havana 1957. The creative direction came at the last minute and wasn’t really making sense to me. The client picked out wardrobe, and didn’t want my input. That happens sometimes, which left the wardrobe not making complete sense to me on my end. My steamer didn’t work for the first 15 min which had me in a panic but ended up working. What people don’t tell you about being a wardrobe stylist or a creative in production is sometimes you have to fail forward, finish the job and figure out how to do better next time.
