Flamingo Go Pool
Wardrobe Styling a Pool Photoshoot at the Flamingo GO Pool, Las Vegas
When it comes to wardrobe styling in Las Vegas, nothing says “iconic” like the Flamingo GO Pool—a vibrant, Palm Springs vibe in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip. Recently, I had the exciting challenge of styling this campaign for Go Pool since the giant remodel at this legendary location. I say legendary because the Flamingo has real flamingos!
The Vision: Colorful, Mid Century, and Sun-Soaked
The Flamingo GO Pool is known for its lively atmosphere, signature pink branding, and sunny Vegas energy. My job as a wardrobe stylist was to create looks that reflected that vibe—playful yet chic, sexy yet polished—while making sure every piece photographed beautifully under the desert sun.
In preparation, I went on an extensive shopping mission, curating over 45 different women’s swimsuits from boutiques, designer collections, and online finds. I pulled every style imaginable—colorful bikinis, every color one-pieces, metallics, and even classic black cuts.
Why so many? Because the client mood board was all over the board and as I was waiting for feedback I would have to start ordering swimsuits or they wouldn’t get here on time. Wardrobe styling for photoshoots is about being ready for anything.
Behind the Scenes: What You Don’t See
From the outside, viewers see three flawless swim looks that seem effortless. Behind the scenes? Racks of colorful options, quick changes in poolside cabanas, constant adjustments to fit and drape, and coordination with photographers to capture every detail.
The Takeaway
A successful photoshoot takes a village. The producer was amazing, she has one of the hardest jobs juggling this monster of a team. The producer, art director and photography team are all staff. The digi on this was Charlie Truong, who I have know for over a decade, along with the Batterman Group MUA’s. The Flamingo GO Pool, the final images were vibrant, fresh, and totally on-brand—proof that the best results often come from having more choices than you think you need.
If you’re planning a Las Vegas photoshoot and want a wardrobe stylist who’s ready for anything (yes, even 50 swimsuits for 3 final looks), I’d love to bring your vision to life.
